Service 04, Mosquitoes

They are breeding in your yard.

Aedes mosquitoes breed within about 150 feet of where they bite you, which means the container holding the water is almost always yours. We treat the resting sites and then walk the yard with you.

Backpack barrier treatment along a hedge/patio

What you will see

Bites in the daytime, especially in shade, and especially two to three days after rain. Larvae wriggling in plant saucers, a bird bath, a clogged gutter, a tarp fold, or the cup at the centre of a bromeliad.

What it means

Aedes aegypti and albopictus breed in small containers, not in swamps, and they go from egg to adult in about a week. A single forgotten saucer can produce mosquitoes all season. Treatment without removing the water is temporary by definition.

What we do

A barrier treatment on the shaded undersides of hedges, fences and patio furniture where adults rest through the day, plus a breeding-site walkthrough so you know which five things in your own yard to empty every week.
